This mural is a collaboration that lives on the Parks and Recreation building located in Belleville, Illinois. The design is intended to encourage viewers to explore Belleville beyond their daily routine, and also acts as a branding piece for the city of Belleville itself. Being that it is located near the beginning of a bike trail, we wanted to highlight the bike in the center of the composition and incorporate it into the typography, and the rest of the mural includes other Belleville themed imagery.
